A setup that fits your group

Start with a ready-made game template. Pick the server option that suits your group instead of configuring everything from scratch.

Your servers. One place.

Check status, start, stop or restart your servers, and copy their connection details from My servers. The everyday controls are right where you need them.

A break when you take one

Idle servers automatically stop after three or more hours of inactivity. Start yours again when it’s time to play, and leave more of our shared capacity for everyone else.

Your next session,

Who can create a server?

SoetPlay is a private community, not a public hosting shop. Anyone can browse the games and wiki, but creating and managing a server requires an account personally invited by the site owner. There is no public signup.

What do I need to get started?

You need access to SoetPlay and the game you want to play. Open the game library, pick a server option and create your server. Once it is ready, share the connection details with your friends.

What happens when a server is idle?

SoetPlay automatically stops managed servers after at least three hours of detected inactivity. Auto-stop does not delete the server. Open My servers and press Start when you want to play again.

Can I use mods or different game versions?

Available setups depend on the game and its server options. Check the game page and any relevant wiki notes before creating a server; not every game or template supports the same mods or versions.

What if there is no capacity for another server?

We share a finite amount of hosting capacity. Choose a setup that fits your group, and stop servers you are not using. If a new server cannot be created, try again later or speak with the site owner.
